Virtual Wine Tasting with Special Guest Matt Rendell

Join us for our very first virtual wine tasting event. We asked our members what they'd like to see from Tullio 'off' the bike, and we listened!

We'll be joined by an expert sommelier to go through 6 amazing wines and talk through some background. They'll also be tips on how to smell and taste wine properly. 

We'll also be joined for the hour by our very special guest Matt Rendell, who will stay on for a further hour to talk about his new book, tell some stories and do a live Q&A. Matt will also be giving away 2 signed copies of his new book - so join us for a chance to win!

ITV Tour de France commentator, annual host of ITV’s Tour de France podcast, columnist for Rouleur, contributor to the Observer, Financial Times, New Statesman, Soigneur, Mondiale, Cycling News and Procycling, Matt Rendell is an award winning writer, reporter, journalist, studio pundit and commentator to the world of cycling in all its forms. He is the author of 7 cycling books, including the multi-award winning THE DEATH OF MARCO PANTANI, which also formed the basis of the 2014 film THE ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF A CYCLIST, produced and directed by Emmy-nominated director James Erskine. Matt Rendell has 20,000 followers on Twitter, and is fluent in French, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and German.

Wine packages and Zoom link will be sent out ion plenty of time before the event. There should be enough wine for your friend/partner to join in also, but if you'd like a full set of the mini bottles each, then feel free to buy an extra ticket. We will also be recommending some options nibbles to get in for the event.
