Tullio x Track Day (Open)

Join us this early October for a session of business, networking and track fun!

It's the 'off-season' as we like to call it, as the colder months are upon us. Whilst many of you might be all-weather cyclists, we like to bring our events indoors for the winter. Whether it's Zwift, wine tasting or the VELODROME...

Due to the success of our previous events at Derby, we're obviously doing it again amd again!

This particular date will be the first in a series of 'winter' velodrome events, and is OPEN to ALL Tullio members.

Join us from 1.00 - 5.00pm on the afternoon of Friday, October 4th 2024 for a 3hr session of track fun and networking, followed by optional (but encouraged) food and drink across the road.

Don't worry about your ability or fitness level. The track is ideal for all abilities, whether you're a pro, novice or haven't ridden a bike in years. The expert coaches will get you up to speed and onto the track in no time.

The first part of the session will be about getting everyone comfortable on the bike and able to cycle around the track safely, whilst those with experience will get chance to ride round a bit higher and refresh their track skills.

In the second part of the session, we will do some friendly (and safe) racing as both individuals and teams. Potential events may include the 250m flying lap, 500m standing start TT and Aussie pursuit.

Price includes the cost of the entire session INCLUDING bike hire and shoe hire. All BIKES are fitted with LOOK KEO pedals, so you can bring your own shoes if you have the right cleats. You may of course bring your own track bike if it meets the criteria set out by Derby track (it should).

We are able to bring you the price of £69pp (Gold members get 30% off, Silver members get 20% off - max 2 tickets each) for this fantastic event, which is not much more than it would cost you to do a normal Taster Session for 1 hour. And this year we've managed to include the bike hire.

NETWORKING - If you haven't been to one of our events before, then cycling really is the very best way to network. The ice is already broken when you arrive and you already have loads in common with those in attendance. There is no awkwardness in having to introduce yourself and drum up conversation. This is only amplified at track events, given the down time you get to chat when your group takes a break from riding round.

As usual, there will be some special competitions featured, with some potential prizes on offer.

This event is on a Friday afternoon and we encourage you to plan ahead. Join us for an optional (but encouraged) food & drinks following the session! We often also get a few people who choose to stay over, where the conversation and chat can continue into the evening - but food should finish at a reasonable hour for you to get away and hit the road home.
