About the Event
Location - Ilmington, The Howard Arms
Distance - 80km (social pace)
There’s an easy start to this 80k (50 mile) route. The first 20k is flat or rolling via Shipston-on-Stour and Morton-in-Marsh, where the hills start. There’s a total of 1,206m of climbing, but the climbs are well spread out and tend to be short. Nearly all the route is on quiet back roads. It’s a figure of eight route centered on the beautiful village of Blockley. After the first visit to Blockley, we head North to Chipping Campden and the hardest climb of the day: Dyer’s Lane, which goes up to Dover’s Hill. Then we head South via Broadway Tower for a lunch stop in the very pretty village of Guiting Power. Then it’s a direct route North-East back to Ilmington – passing through Blockley for a second time. There are a number of options for additional café stops, which can be decided on the day.
Come and experience networking at its finest - on the bike. In fact, it won't even feel like networking at all. You'll be out riding your bike with like-minded people who you'll feel like you've known for years. Make contacts, make friends, eat cake, drink coffee - but most of all...have fun!
These rides are about experiencing bucket list routes whilst getting the chance to meet new people. We will ride in groups of 6-10 in a bit of a chain-gang rotation, giving you the chance to speak to everyone in your mini peloton. We'll all meet up at the cafe stops (plus pre and post ride) but will also look to mix up the groups where possible.
There will be groups of differing pace depending on numbers, so don't worry if you're a novice or a pro, as long as you can get round. No one gets left behind! Networking is better at a steady pace. You'll have access to goodies and nutrition from our partnered brands during the day, and the cafe stop is on us!
Tullio rides stem from networking on the bike for business leaders & senior professionals. Many people invest personally, but why not sign up through your business or expense to your employer if you can; just as you would with a golf day...? At the same time we're also a cycling 'club' for these same business folk. So you can simply come to meet friends and experience awesome days out in the saddle together.
