About the Event
These rides are about experiencing bucket list routes whilst getting the chance to meet new people. Networking is part and parcel, but as cyclists we're likely to meet new friends for life. We will ride in groups of no more than 6 in a bit of a chaingang rotation, giving you the chance to speak to everyone in your mini peloton. We'll all meet up at the cafe stops but will also look to mix up the groups where possible.
There will be groups of differing pace depending on numbers, so don't worry if you're a novice or a pro, as long as you can get round. No one gets left behind! Networking is better at a steady pace. You'll have access to goodies and nutrition from our partnered brands during the day, and the cafe stop is on us!
Tullio rides stem from networking on the bike for business leaders & senior professionals. Many people invest personally, but why not sign up through your business or expense to your employer if you can; just as you would with a golf day...? At the same time we're also a cycling 'club' for these same business folk. So you can simply come to meet friends and experience awesome days out in the saddle together.
On our rides you will get: 🚴♂️ A long or shorter (steadier) route to choose from 🚴♀️ Fully supported with maintenance & vehicle 🚴♂️ All ride fuel and nutrition included 🚴♀️ Partnered brand items to sample 🚴♂️ Breakfast items and coffee upon arrival 🚴♀️ The all important cafe stop is included 🚴♂️ All the networking and new contacts you could wish for 🚴♀️ Full risk assessment provided
Start Location: The Parrot, Horsham Rd, Forest Green, Dorking RH5 5RZ
Taking in some of the finest cycling roads in England, with some nice ascents, we’ll be starting on the edge of this area of outstanding natural beauty in Forest Green, before heading up Pitch Hill. We'll then ride to Peaslake and head up Radnor Road. The ride will then drop through Abinger Common, which leads nicely onto the ascent of White Down Lane, the iconic Box Hill, and the final climb out of Coldharbour.
Following the ride, we do hope everyone will have time for a drink and a light bite at The Parrot pub in Forest Green to further enjoy this fabulous location and networking opportunity.
We'll have a longer route (circa 75km) and a shorter, steadier route (circa 55km) to choose from. The longer route will feature groups riding at differing pace, but we like to mix it up at certain intervals so you get to chat to more people out on the actual road. Think of a chaingang, but slower and allowing time to speak to different people for a decent period.
Routes will be shared along with full ride information in the week leading up to the event!
